Según Cholo, el homenaje a los artistas que trabajan en las calles genera una toma de conciencia no sólo a nivel social, sino también, y principalmente, a nivel político. "Para nosotros es muy importante tener representación en la Asamblea Nacional de Cultura. Además, contamos con el apoyo de la Intendencia Municipal de Montevideo (IMM) y de la Junta Departamental de Montevideo (JDM)", dijo Cholo.

Ahora tenemos la alegría de que muchas veces los guardas nos digan 'gracias', cuando en realidad somos nosotros los que estamos agradecidos".
